After the Chairman canvassed the trustees, it became apparent that Patrick Marshall was everyone's first or second choice and for the majority of the trustees he was their first choice.

There was no consensus beyond that. After some discussion it was decided to check Patrick Marshall's references and, presuming good things were said, offer him the job. Wendy will do the checking then make the offer by phone.

Motion to offer Patrick Marshall the Library Director job: MAC1, MC2. Passed unanimously

After some discussion:

Motion to offer Patrick $55,000 and 3 weeks of vacation: DC1, RZ2. Passed unanimously

Motion to go into Executive Session to discuss contract negotiation.: MAC1,DC2. Passed unanimously
