Trustee meeting was held in conjunction with a Board of Selectmen meeting.
There was the question of whether to ask for $300,000 or $400,000. Some people had expressed the opinion to Trustees that $400,000 was too much.
Motion to change requested override amount to $300,000. (PC1, MJ2) tied. PC, MJ, CR in favor. WR, WLR, MAC opposed. Since it was tied, original motion (from the 17th) stands.
MaryAnn still thought asking for an override was a mistake:
Motion to not ask for an override. (MAC1, WLR2) Failed, 2/4. MAC & WLR voted for, PC, MJ, WR, & CR voted against.
Motion to set the Override amount at either $300,000 or $400,000 dependant on the Selectmen's advice. (PC1, MJ2) passed 4/2 (WLR & MAC opposing).
Since more decisions might be required based on the Selectmen's deliberations:
Motion to recess --- (WLR1, CR2) passed unanimously.
