Gave the Sept. Electric bill to the DPW. This was the agreement when the thermostats were turned down to combat mold.
Didn't quite spend the monthly $2000 allotment from the Friends.
Margaret has $800 to pick new books.
To make life simpler, the Friends will put our monthly allowance in the Memorial Donations Fund and our expenses will then be paid out of it via warrant. This makes what we spend nicely visible as well.
Warrants were signed by 4 trustees.
Susan Brennan (a director from years gone by) has mostly finished the state aid form. The waiver application is in progress.
It was generally felt that we should put off accepting this until after the Special Town Meeting, at which point we might well be able to pay for a weekly cleaning service
No one has stepped forward.
Meena suggested getting donations via Barnes and Noble. A small portion of a person's purchase could be donated.
The sense of the Trustees on this is that we shouldn't require an MLS.
Motion to adjourn: (MAC1, MJ2) passed unanimously at 8:30.
