24. Board Reorganization: election of Secretary, Chair, Vice Chair
• Citizen Margaret staged a coup and took over the meeting, the trustees having become disorganized due the election.
• Motion to nominate Bill for Secretary. WER1, MJ2. Passed as unanimously as possible 4 aye, 0 no, 1 incapable. (Bill couldn't vote, not having been sworn in, and Elliot hadn't arrived yet).
• Bill started taking notes. Recording the above from memory.
• Motion to nominate Wendy as Chairman. MJ1, MAC2. 4 aye, 0 nay, 1 incapable
• Margaret gracefully returned to civilian life.
• Welcome, Elliott Edwards

Elliot arrived and was welcomed.

4. Budget Report

Starting to get monthly reconciliations which are starting to be correct even.

5. Acting Director's Report
• ATM Mon May 14
• Minuteman bill vs. fine revenue issue (no revolving account)

Need to get fine money applied to the Minuteman bill. Wendy is going to attempt to get this done at the Town Meeting next week. We forgot to get a warrant article added. Failing that there will be an opportunity at an all but certain June Special Town Meeting. Failing that we will have to pay it out of the Tuchinksy and try to get the fine money applied to it retroactively.

• Library is wireless
• Magazines cost less than expected (no 10% increase)

Cost roughly $2000 of which 1/2 is being covered by donations

• Still owe thank-you letters to bookfair performers

Meena volunteered.

• Still need $600 emergency light batteries, $900 elevator reinspect
6. Old business
• Friends Book/Bake/Basket sale raised $1400
• Odd Fellows dinner - results?

Did quite well. $1234 of which $167 was from the raffle. Roughly 62 people attended (26 hungry souls turned up at the door)

Hope to do it again in the fall. Likely in October. Will need to pay for food (roughly $300). Do it in conjunction with an auction. Need better publicity. Chuck will send out letters. Would like official library letterhead (turns out all we have still has Susan Brennan's name).

Suggestion of getting high school drama club or possibly the players to provide some entertainment

• Elaine Kessler's show well attended; $30 Library donation
• Medway Players $140 fee goes to Town

7. New Business & Fundraising
• Trustee mailing list - get rid of Yahoo group?

Leave as is do to privacy concerns. Trustee emails are not revealed.

• Videos in plastic cases for Collection?

No particular reason not to include donated videos which improve the collection. (Which are worthwhile and which we don't have).

• Mystery dinner show?
• Other ideas and volunteers?
